The Fifth Wind
…
This is the beginning,
the beginning of an old tale.
Told by our ancestors,
at this very place, called Muyal Barak,
the Nation of Clouds,
and its sacred beings Muyal Ka’an,
People Of The Sky.
We will capture the old tale in every word,
capture the beginning of the world as we know it,
and as it has been.

Muyal Kaán
Ancient People Of The Skies
It is here, at Muyal Barak,
where the Gods first descended,
bringing life and light to the world,
giving birth to the great mountains and rivers,
the sun and the stars,
the forests and the seas.
It is here, at Muyal Barak,
where the Sun Serpent first touched the Mountain,
where it gave birth to the Muyal Ka’an,
where their proud legacy began,
And we will remember it,
and carry it with us,
so that it will never be forgotten.
The tale speaks of the creation of the sky and the earth,
of the first sunrise and the stars that shone in the night.
It speaks of the four winds that created the clouds
and the thunder that brought the rain.
It speaks of the four sacred elements,
Earth, Fire, Air, and Water,
and how they were used to bring life to the world.
It speaks of the four gifts given to the Muyal Ka’an,
Knowledge, Wisdom, Love and Power.
The gift of understanding and learning,
The gift of discernment and insight.
The gift of compassion and kindness.
And the gift of strength and determination.
This is the old tale,
the tale of the creation of the world, as we know it, and as it has been.
It is the tale of the Muyal Ka’an,
People of the Sky.

The Northern Plate
“Utma Chicchan Mountains” during Summer
The "Freezing Feet" Tribes, live on the Northern Plate, struggling with the icy landscape and its mysteries. They are good hearted people who will never search for conflict.
They believe that everything is connected and solutions for problems are always possible in a peaceful way. This initial philosophy caused them to split off the Baayozi tribe and move to the northern plate. They are made up of small, nomadic family units that roam the tundra and forests of the north. They are mainly hunter-gatherers, depending on the land to provide food, medicine, and clothing.
They are also excellent craftspeople, creating tools and weapons from the resources around them. They have a strong oral tradition, which is passed down through the generations and contains stories about the tribe's history and the secrets of the land.
The Freezing Feet Tribes are known for their hospitality and openness to outsiders, even though they are very protective of their own traditions and customs.
They live in harmony with nature, respecting the creatures and plants that provide for them. The Freezing Feet Tribe has a strong spiritual connection to the land. They believe that the spirits of the animals, plants, and elements are connected and that these spirits must be respected and cared for in order to ensure the health of the land and its inhabitants. They practice a form of shamanism, using plants and ceremonies to connect with the spirit world. They also practice rituals to honor the land and its creatures. They are fiercely loyal to their tribe and its traditions. They provide for one another and look after the younger members of the tribe.
Growing Up in the Freezing Feet Tribe still means that you will probably be the toughest kid in Otlacoya. Freezing-, Fight-, and Hunting-Trails are the fundaments of the tribe. However, they are generous with their resources, sharing what they have with others in need.
They are ruled by a circle of wise elders.
Once every “Long Night Moon” People from all over the Northern Plate gather at the “Half Moon Circle”. There’s food and a spiritual dance which shows the different stages of the moon.

Lari
The Restless
The Lari is a mysterious nomadic tribe, living in the Iyoho and Splitter Sands Desert. The Apaskazi and Panaskazi trade with them, exchanging goods for their rare and exotic goods. They are known for their skill in crafting unique weapons and jewelry made from a rare Silver only found in the Iyoho Desert.
The legend of the Lari tells of a powerful tribe of warriors who once lived in the salt desert. These warriors were unmatched in their strength and skill, and they soon became feared by their enemies.
The story of these warriors reached the gods who then wanted to test their strength in a contest. The Gods barely won and decided to trick the warriors into serving them in the desert forever.
They were no longer able to settle in one place, and they were forbidden to build a home. This is the origin of the Lari and they were doomed to wander the deserts for eternity.
The Moaning Ice
FROZEN HEARTS
When the wind is howling, when the sky is falling,
You might catch a glimpse of me,
Below your world so bright.
You find me underneath the sea,
On days as white as snow,
My skin so pale, my eyes awake,
My heart forever frozen.
When the wind is howling, when the sky is falling,
On days as white as snow,
I yearn for you, thy beating heart,
Thy cheeks all flushed and red,
I shiver in the darkness cold,
Inside my icy bed.
But on these days as white as snow
Don’t look at me too long,
For I might lead you with my stare,
Down to my winter home,
And all eternity we’ll share,
Your skin now pale, your eyes awake,
Your heart forever frozen.

My main goal was to design fantasy architecture, that is believable and unique. For that, I needed a believable world with cultures. And cultures need stories. Enjoy this little Work-in-Progress Project.
I think it’ll never be done, but that’s okay, I am enjoying the process…
